Border situation is a disaster
To the Editor:
It is amazing how people focus on the abortion issue yet ignore important issues that affect far more people. I guess focusing on abortion keeps liberals from focusing on the failures of the Biden administration and the awful state of our nation.
Balancing act: Robinson, Stein offer competing visions of the future in North Carolina
They couldn’t be more different. But it’s not about race, religion or party affiliation.

Phony writ from sham court offers bounties for national, state and local lawmakers
More than three dozen Western North Carolina judges, elected officials and municipal employees have been “served” with a bogus judgement from an illegitimate court that offers rewards for their capture if they do not immediately satisfy the terms.
