Does it seem like every day you are overwhelmed by the atrocities in the news? Are you feeling beaten down in despair and hopelessness? Are you longing for some positive energy, some common sense, some time to gather with others, a chance to make some changes in the world?
We invite you to come join us.
Come stand with your neighbors in a joyful community resistance against this current regime as we gather for a local “No Kings” rally. On Saturday, March 28, Haywood County residents and visitors will gather in front of the historic Haywood County Courthouse from 1 to 3 p.m. to joyfully unite in community resistance against this administration. There will be a drum circle, music, bubbles, protest chants and signs, and best of all, a chance to be with like-minded people who are taking a stand against all of the wrong that we see.
You will be participating in the largest protest in the history of our nation. This will become our act of resistance. We resist because we must stop the lawlessness, hemorrhaging of our money and resources, the damage to our nation and our rights and the killing that this administration is carrying out in the United States and abroad.
We resist joyfully because we are united in community. We are taking back our power to shape the future for ourselves, our children and grandchildren, and for generations of Americans to come. Now is the time to stand up and take action to save the nation that we love, not one that has been hostilely taken over by corrupt elites.
We have permission to say no! We are so much stronger when we rise up together. There is a place for you here. So come out, bring a sign and become part of something much bigger than yourself. Find your community. Protest peacefully. There is unity in our community. There is hope.
