2. Indie-soul/rock act The Get Right Band will close out the “Concerts on the Creek” music series with a performance from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Bridge Park in Sylva.
3. A special stage production of Michael Frayn’s “Noises Off” will be performed on select dates and times Sept. 4-27 at the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville.
4. Appalachian Women’s Museum (Dillsboro) will host “Music On The Porch” from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5.
5. The Maggie Valley Labor Day Arts & Crafts Show will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 5-6 at the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds.
