The Warrior’s Way Cancer Fund will host a benefit concert from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at Currahee Brewing in Franklin.
All proceeds will be donated to Ryan Bilbrey, a member of the Franklin community who is currently battling brain cancer.
The event will feature seven bands, a cold plunge challenge, dunk tank, corn hole tournament, raffle items and cake walk with DJ Mox. Lunch and dinner by Little Stingrays. The low country boil will be served from noon to 3 p.m. and barbecue from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Live music will begin with Jason Passmore (noon to 1:15 p.m.), followed by Drew Clingan (1:30-2:45 p.m.), Bo Bullman (3-4:15 p.m.), Dustin Martin (4:30-5:45 p.m.), Roberto Obregon (6-7:15 p.m.), Ashes of Past (7:30-8:45 p.m.) and Grizzly Mammoth (9-10:15 p.m.). Sound will be provided by Sonny’s Music Lounge.
The Warrior’s Way Cancer Fund is a nonprofit organization founded by Franklin native Braulio Fonseca that raises money to help individuals facing cancer diagnoses. Fonseca is a veteran and two-time cancer survivor.
