The 2026 Assault on BlackRock trail race has been set for Saturday, March 21.
All proceeds from this race will go to the Sylva Art & Design Committee with a focus on bringing more art (outdoor murals) to downtown Sylva.
T-shirts are guaranteed to those registered prior to March 1, 2026, prizes will be awarded to top finishers and anyone who completes the BlackRock 101 challenge will get a belt buckle. There is also a $400 cash award to the first person who completes the course on race day in under one hour.
