Artists of all skill levels are invited to sharpen their observational skills along the Fighting Creek Nature Trail in the Sugarlands area of the park near Gatlinburg during the Ecological Illustration Workshop from 9-11 a.m. on Sept. 19, at the Sugarlands Visitor Center near Gatlinburg. This event is hosted by this year’s writer Steve Kemp and illustrator in residence, Laurie McDowell.

The cost for Branch Out events for Park Keepers is $45. To join and attend the cost is $85 (Park Keeper basic membership $40 and event registration $45).
