The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission welcomed Justin Boyd to its governing board. Boyd was appointed as an at-large member by North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture Steve Troxler and will serve a four-year term until June 30, 2029. Boyd was sworn in on July 22 at the Department of Agriculture headquarters in Raleigh.ย

A graduate of NC State University with a degree in Agricultural Business Management, Boyd is a farmer and partner at 3-B-Farms, Inc. A native of Beaufort County, Boyd resides in Bath with his wife, Regan, and their two boys.
As part of its statutory authority,ย the NCWRC governing board establishes policies and regulations governing hunting, fishing and boating activities in North Carolina.
