3. 44 degrees - 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temperatures in the mid to upper 70’s can cause trout to become stressed, and they won’t eat and high water temperatures can be fatal.
4. Yes! Rainbow trout are considered exclusively carnivores. They will eat insects, worms, and even other trout.
