Sylva Health & Fitness, a new, locally-owned fitness center located across from Harris Regional Hospital near the intersection of Asheville Highway and The Overlook, is nearing completion.
The approximately 15,000-square-foot facility is owned by Rodney Morris, who also owns and operates Franklin Health & Fitness, Murphy Health & Fitness and Clayton Health & Fitness.
Sylva Health & Fitness will offer 24/7 access and a wide variety of equipment, services and amenities.
Sylva Health & Fitness will also participate in several nationally recognized fitness programs for older adults, including SilverSneakers, Silver&Fit, Prime, Mutually Well and Renew Active.
Hundreds of area residents have already joined through the center’s presale program. Presale memberships remain available for a limited time, and members will not be charged until the fitness center opens.
An official opening date, group fitness schedule and grand opening details will be announced soon.
