Kindness is a powerful force
To the Editor:
Political leaders are claiming they want to unite Americans. What they suggest is a top-down system which they can take credit for, rescuing millions of people all at one time.
This must be the place: ‘That’s the story of my life rich or poor and mostly poor and truly poor’

Simple, meaningful stories often overlooked
I once wrote a story about a couple in Jackson County who had been living off the grid for decades. They were college-educated professionals who made a choice to live intentionally.
