Wayne Caldwell will present his latest work, “River Road,” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Blue Ridge Books in Waynesville. 

A collection of narrative poems in the voice of Susan McFalls, written from her new home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the book is a companion to Caldwell’s debut poetry collection, “Woodsmoke.”
