Rising singer-songwriter Alexa Rose will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Yonder Community Market in Franklin.
Rose was born in the Alleghany Highlands of western Virginia and raised in the tiny railroad town of Clifton Forge. Though no one in her immediate family played or sang, she’s inherited a deep musical legacy with intricate songwriting and a captivating stage presence in the Americana realm of modern music with a timeless feel.
