A beloved long-time Western North Carolina tradition, the annual “Mountain Heritage Days” celebration will run Sept. 21-26 on the campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.

The festival of Southern Appalachian traditions and culture is renowned as a showcase of bluegrass, old-time, and traditional music, as well as family activities, food vendors, artisan demonstrations, and the region’s finest arts/crafts booths.
