A beloved long-time Western North Carolina tradition, the annual “Mountain Heritage Days” celebration will run through Sept. 26 on the campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.
The festival of Southern Appalachian traditions and culture is renowned as a showcase of bluegrass, old-time, and traditional music, as well as family activities, food vendors, artisan demonstrations, and the region’s finest arts/crafts booths.
