A class act: HART celebrates milestone, looks ahead

It’s Sunday afternoon. And while many are either watching professional football on a glowing TV somewhere or simply trying to relax and prepare for the impending workweek, an array of cars put on their blinkers and pull into 250 Pigeon Street in Waynesville — home to the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre.

A special production of “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19-21 and 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville.

The Haywood Arts Regional Theatre will open its 40th season with the enchanting Tony Award-winning musical “The Secret Garden,” which will be held at 7:30 p.m. May 30-31, June 1 and 2 p.m. June 2 on the Steve Lloyd Stage in Waynesville. 

HART presents ‘I’ll Eat You Last’

A production of “I’ll Eat You Last” will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. April 19-20, 26-27 and 2 p.m. April 21 and 28 at the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville. 

HART to present ‘Constellations’

A special stage production of “Constellations” will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 12-13 and 2 p.m. April 14 at the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville. 

HART presents ‘The Lightning Thief’

A production of “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” will hit the stage at 7:30 p.m. 22-23 and 2 p.m. March 24 at the Haywood Arts Regional Theatre in Waynesville.
