DIY Holiday Soap

DIY Holiday Soap

If you’ve never made a DIY gift for a friend or loved one, perhaps this is the year! Essential oils not only smell amazing, but they also support a healthy mood. Handmade soaps make a wonderful holiday favor or gift for a person of any age. You can also mail bars of soap easily if you can't be with friends and family in person.

Directions

Grate 4 tbs. orange peel into a bowl and set aside

Heat 2 lbs. goats milk soap (this comes in a block) in the microwave until melted

An extra large glass Pyrex measuring bowl with handle and spout works great for this

Related Items

While soap is heating, sprinkle half of the orange peel into the bottom of a 12-bar silicone mold

Once soap is melted, stir in the following essential oils:

10 drops Orange

10 drops Cinnamon

5 drops Clove

5 drops Nutmeg

3 drops Patchouli

Pour the soap liquid evenly into each space of the mold

Sprinkle the remaining orange peel on top

Allow four hours to dry completely

Soap bars should easily pop out of the mold

*Yields 12 bars of soap
