Indian Boundary Campground in the Cherokee National Forest near Tellico Plains, Tennessee, is now closed due to damage from a flash flood on Aug. 14.
The storm also prompted a temporary closure of the Cherohala Skyway, which increased emergency response times to the campground. The campground will remain closed until the Skyway reopens.
