The collection explores life on the margins of faith, family and survival in the South through stories of loss, resilience and redemption. Brown is an award-winning author whose work has earned multiple national honors and Pushcart Prize nominations.
Timothy S. Moore will present “Mountain Ramblings: An Exploration of a Place and Its People” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13. Blending memoir, essays, poetry and travel writing, the book reflects on Southern Appalachia through themes of faith, community, ecology and place, offering a heartfelt tribute to the region and its people.
