Fifth graders from Cullowhee Valley School and Scotts Creek School participated in conservation field days at East LaPorte Park Wednesday to learn more about natural resources and conservation.
The students rotated through eight different stations — air quality, aquatics, recycling, weather forecasting, agriculture, soils, forestry and wildlife — with local resource professionals letting the students enjoy hands-on activities.
