The Town of Waynesville and a local nonprofit, Environmental Action Community of WNC is hosting an energy fair.

The fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 7 at Vance Street Park near the pavilion.

Retailers, dealers, service providers, and nonprofits will show the latest advances in electric vehicles, solar power for homes and businesses, and home-efficiency applications.

Visitors will have the chance to explore and ride in more than 20 electric vehicles, receive free solar-power estimates, see how microgrids work in action, and tour an off-grid tiny home.

Entry is free, and all are welcome. Parking is available near the pavilion or at the Waynesville Rec Center. Event will be held rain or shine.
