Moving up the scale toward enlightenment
The older and wiser I become, the more I appreciate people who vibrate at a high frequency, not because they make everyone around them feel better (although that is part of it), but because vibrating at a high frequency requires openness, honesty and authenticity, traits I highly respect and admire in others.
In previous columns, I referenced a book by Dr. David Hawkins called “Power vs. Force,” and I’ve noticed myself referring to his teachings on several recent occasions, especially when it comes to parenting. This book is an impactful resource.
Don’t be fooled by force, be fueled by power
Force is not the same as power.
Jesus exuded power. Nelson Mandela exuded power. Mother Theresa exuded power. Our current administration is using force, and the reason their efforts aren’t landing is because power and force are polar opposites. To truly understand this distinction will give you some hope and optimism for the future.
Moving away from a place of fear
The passion surrounding the 2024 election was monumental, and as I observed my fellow Americans, the overarching emotion that simmered to the surface, no matter the party affiliation, was fear.
