Christmas Parades & Events
There are several Christmas parades and events coming up around the region over the next couple of weeks.
• The 40th annual “Lights & Luminaries” will return from 5-9 p.m. Dec. 1-2 and 8-9 in the streets of downtown Dillsboro.
• “The Biggest Little Christmas Parade in the Smokies” will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in downtown Bryson City. For more information visit greatsmokies.com.
• The Downtown Brevard Christmas Parade will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in downtown Brevard. This year’s theme is “Past, Present, and Future.”
• The Black Mountain Christmas Parade will take place 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in black Mountain.
• The Olde Mountain Christmas Parade will take place 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, on Main Street in Highlands. For more information visit highlandschamber.org.
