Hazelwood Proud will present “A Celebration of Community and History: A Map Project Festival” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Folkmoot Community Center in Waynesville.
The festival will feature the largest community-drawn map project in Western North Carolina and aims to encourage families to participate in activities that promote cultural engagement and social interaction. Members of the community and the media are invited to experience a day filled with music, dance, artistic and wellness demonstrations, historical presentations and more.
