Waynesville open late for Art After Dark

art afterdarkThe Waynesville Gallery Association’s monthly Art After Dark will take place from 6-9 p.m. July 6, followed by the new Saturday Stroll from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7.

In conjunction with the event, the Haywood County Arts Council will host a reception for “South of the Sahara: Portrait of Africa,” an exhibit of photographs by John Rolland, at Gallery 86 on Main Street. The exhibit will remain on display until July 28. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

On July 7, Rolland will give a presentation at Gallery 86 during the Saturday Stroll.

Art After Dark and Saturday Stroll occur on the first Friday and Saturday of each month through December. Studios, galleries and other businesses remain open late.
