Sylva local C.B. Cole introduces her new novel

C.B. Cole will be at City Lights Bookstore to read from and sign her new book, Winter, at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24.

In the novel, the main character Winter doesn’t know it yet, but once she steps into the amphitheater to see the biggest rock show of the year, she will set into motion a whirlwind of events beyond her control. She will soon learn that her entire life has been a carefully crafted lie and that she will have to make a choice that will not only impact her life but also the lives of everyone around her.

At our inception 20 years ago, we chose to be different. Unlike other news organizations, we made the decision to provide in-depth, regional reporting free to anyone who wanted access to it. We don’t plan to change that model. Support from our readers will help us maintain and strengthen the editorial independence that is crucial to our mission to help make Western North Carolina a better place to call home. If you are able, please support The Smoky Mountain News.
