Musical couple play free concert in Waynesville
Mountain musicians Rob and Anne Lough will give a concert at 3 p.m. on Aug. 21 at the Haywood County Library in Waynesville.
Rob and Anne Lough bring to life the ballads, folk songs, folk hymns, stories, dulcimer and dance tunes that are a treasured part of our cultural heritage.
For more than 40 years, Rob and Anne Lough have been delighting audiences with their wide reaching repertoire, beautiful harmonies and superb musicianship. Anne plays the autoharp, mountain and hammered dulcimer and is complimented by Rob on guitar accompaniment. They have been regulars for the past 20 years at the cultural events throughout the region.
Anne has several recordings and more than 10 books of dulcimer arrangements to her credit, the most recent one.
