Create the portal.  

Find a place in your home to put your loved one’s photograph and some of their memorabilia. This will heighten their energy in your room.  We are tapping into psychometry here which is tuning into the energy of a person by holding something that carries their vibration.   

Write a letter. 

Take a little time to gather your thoughts.  Anything pressing you need to know?  Anything of value you want to share?  By writing them a letter, you are focusing your energy on your relationship with them.  Bringing ideas from the etheric down to the earth plane allows those in spirit to get a real feel for what is on your mind.  These notions are already in your vibration, and they can read that energy rather easily.  But the written word demonstrates what specifically you are allowing into your conscious state.  They might feel you’re in dire need of grieving a loss, and that energy is in your energetic make up (which they can sense) but you are not yet holding that in your conscious awareness.  More work will have to be done to trigger those wounds before they are ready to come up and out into the open.  To offer you support with those issues before you were ready to deal with them would be a waste of their energy.  So, this letter will serve as the agenda so to speak. 

Prepare yourself.

Anticipating this day might create some anxiety.  We want to be on top of that as it can clog up your receptors, making you miss the messages coming through.  Be sure to ground your energy daily by exercising.  Never a bad idea to use exercise to get out the fidgets!  Next take a Himalayan saltwater bath.  The salt will clear your auric field, again supporting clear reception and water is great conduit of emotional energy.  

Trust.

Their showing up to support you is always about your ability to receive the impressions they make on you.  They are there.  They are available for this.  They understand what’s needed and they are willing to give it to you.  So, make the decision that seeing is not believing. Believing is seeing, feeling, hearing, sensing through taste or smell, those on the other side.  By expecting this to happen you will leave no room for doubt.  Whatever you get, know it’s coming from them and let it sink in.  It may not be instantaneous as it sometimes takes weeks to get a clear sense of the message.  But if your heart is open to this process, you will be answered.
