The evening fundraiser features a pre-show cash bar starting at 6:30 p.m. while your dinner is served. The 60-90-minute drag show production starts at 7 p.m. Dinner packages start at $35. The menu for this production of Dine With Divas includes pork or chicken barbecue with four sauce options, collard greens, jalapeno grits, baked beans and cornbread. Dine With Divas cabaret production is a delightful new dinner show conceived by Gordon Hensley, a theatre professional with over 20 years of experience performing and producing events. “The production is a little more formal than just a drag show. It is a mix of professional drag performances like lip syncing, dancing, audience interaction, and sometimes even live singing” says Hensley. “Based on which cast you see there may also be a celebrity cameo by drag impersonations of Cher, Madonna, Liza, and more!” Profits from this production benefit Asheville’s Free Farmers Market for the Elderly.
