Bring Special Olympics to Cherokee
Volunteers are needed to help with the upcoming Special Olympics season on the Qualla Boundary.
Training will start this fall for a variety of Olympic-type sports. Special Olympics North Carolina will host invitational events across the state, and volunteers are needed to help manage and plan two to three events on the Qualla Boundary. Events will host 50 to 100 athletes and take place within a half a day or in the evening.
