Change of plans for Master Gardener classes
The Haywood County Master Gardener course typically offered from January through April each year will move to August through October for 2021.
The rescheduling will allow classes to go outside and instructors to demonstrate techniques that are difficult to do in the wintertime. Instead, the Haywood County Extension Center will offer homeowner classes this winter. Topics are yet to be finalized but may include tree and shrub identification, vegetable gardening and lawns. Online presentations may also be offered this fall via Zoom.
