Haywood County Cares — Shanna Bellow

Haywood County Cares — Shanna Bellow

Officer Shanna Bellows has been with the Maggie Valley Police Department since May 2019. Like everyone these days, her daily routines have changed during COVID-19.

“I love the town of Maggie Valley and I’m grateful to be serving my community. I understand that with this virus going around, a lot of people within the community are worried," she said. "We, as a department, are trying to keep up with new cases and continue to educate the community. We are remaining vigilant by keeping a close eye on residents coming in and out of the valley. Information packets are being provided to new, out-of-state residents on the Haywood County Stay Home - Stay Safe Order. We are following up with residents that remain here who are here from out of state. We are ensuring that they are following the correct procedures, such as contacting our local Health Department upon arrival into the county.

“I take pride in my community and know that we will all get through this.”
