Primary Election results return to Cherokee
Preliminary results are in from Cherokee’s June 6 Primary Election.
All 12 Tribal Council seats, the principal chief’s office, the vice chief’s office and three school board seats are up for grabs. The top two vote-getters for each seat will go on to the General Election slated for Thursday, Sept. 5. Candidates who will advance as indicated by preliminary election results are shown in bold.
