Harrah’s employee recognized for environmental commitment
Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos’ housekeeping supervisor Arena Hall-Miller was one of three people chosen from across the Caesars brand for the Caesars Clean The World Employee Award.
The award recognizes employees who are passionate about Caesars’ environmental commitments and is given by the nonprofit Clean The World, whose goal is to recycle unused hygiene products from hospitality destinations. Harrah’s participates by collecting unused complimentary soap and shampoo after checkout.
“Arena is our property advocate for the Clean The World campaign and through her efforts we’ve consistently finished in the top ten of health care contributions that benefit those around the world who are less fortunate,” said Brian Skaggs, executive housekeeper.
Hall-Miller, a resident of Blairsville, Georgia, works at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River. In October, she will join the two other award recipients with Clean The World to distribute personal hygiene products in Zambia.
