The 2018 Haywood County Recreation and Parks Summer Soccer Tournament concluded Monday, July 30, with a victory for the team Queretaro. 

In the most entertaining game of the season, Queretaro started off a five-goal thriller with a shot from close range, scoring on opponent Real Madrid. Real Madrid soon tied the game, taking a 1-2 lead halfway through the second period. Queretaro used its numbers advantage, earning a penalty and tying the game at 2-2. With less than five minutes remaining, Queretaro scored, with Real Madrid mounting a late charge but finding itself unable to score in time. 

Queretaro team members included Juan Enrique Andrade, Manuel Mendoza, Angel Mendoza, Miguel Garcia, Enrique Avila, Francisco Avila, Jorge Mendoza, Pedro Rivera, Leonardo Diaz and Quinto Mendoza.
