Solarize WNC forums demystify solar energy for the masses
A forum on how to transition to solar energy will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Macon County Public Library in Franklin, the second in a string of events to be held throughout the region this spring and summer.
The Solarize WNC campaign, a partnership of The Canary Coalition and Clean Energy for WNC, aims to create a clear path for solar and energy efficiency adoption by connecting interested homeowners, businesses and agencies with the solar industry.
The forum will cover basics on technology, tax credits utility rebates and financing, and include a chance to meet experienced solar technology installers.
Free. Register at www.cleanenergyfor.us/clean-energy-for-wnc. The next forum will be 7 p.m. April 21 at First United Methodist Church in Waynesville. 828.631.3447 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
