Buy Haywood guide seeks new listings

An agritourism guide for Haywood County is looking for new listings to help visitors and locals alike explore everything from pick-your-own berry farms to farm-to-table restaurants.

The 2015 Agritourism Guide is designed to highlight Haywood County’s rich farming and agricultural heritage. The guide details year-round opportunities to enjoy the area’s agritourism opportunities, including places to buy products made with locally grown or raised ingredients.

The guide is put out by Buy Haywood and funded with grants from the Haywood Tourism Authority, Haywood Advancement Foundation, Bethel Rural Community Organization and Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project.

Listing is free, but the deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, March 6. Listing forms available from Tina Masciarelli, 828.734.9574.
