Bass tourney gives anglers an outlet

out bassAnglers are getting the tackle ready for the 2014 Fontana Marina Classic Bass Tournament June 7 and 8. With 238 miles of shoreline, Fontana Lake provides ample opportunity for stellar bass fishing.

This year’s purse is $5,000, with first place garnering $2,000 and cash prizes through eighth place. Anglers catching the biggest smallmouth, largemouth and spot bass will each earn $100.
