‘Spring Fling’ returns to Waynesville

The Waynesville Recreation Center announced the return of its annual free “Spring Fling” community event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16. This family-friendly celebration will take place on the Recreation Center green space.

This rain-or-shine event is completely free and open to families, children and community members of all ages. 

“Spring Fling” offers a full day of fun and entertainment, including:

• Bounce houses and inflatables 
• Dunk tank 
• Free hot dogs, sides, and drinks 
• Family-friendly games and activities 
• A welcoming, community-centered atmosphere 

Attendees will receive vouchers for access to the Waynesville recreation pool. Vouchers may be used during designated free swim sessions on May 16 or saved for a future visit.

Free Swim Times:

• 11 a.m. to noon
• 1-2 p.m. 

This event is designed to bring the community together for a safe, enjoyable and engaging day of recreation. Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to attend and celebrate one of Waynesville’s favorite annual events.
