Elizabeth “Betsy” Jordan-Bell, an advancement professional with more than 15 years of experience in strategic fundraising, donor engagement and partnership development, is joining the Western Carolina University Division of Advancement as director of development for the College of Health and Human Sciences.
The appointment was announced by Kathleen de la Torre, assistant vice chancellor for development at WCU.
“Over the course of her career, Betsy has helped secure and steward more than $165 million in funding from federal and philanthropic sources, working closely with faculty, senior leadership and external stakeholders to advance institutional priorities,” said de la Torre.
