Indie-soul/rock act The Get Right Band will close out the “Concerts on the Creek” music series with a performance from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Bridge Park in Sylva.
A popular Asheville-based power trio, The Get Right Band fuses a slew of genres into a melting pot of its own sonic template, weaving seamlessly between indie-rock, Americana, R&B and soul.
“Concerts on the Creek” are held every Friday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. These events are free, with donations encouraged. Dogs must be on a leash. No smoking, vaping, coolers or tents are allowed. Bring a chair or blanket. There will be food trucks on select nights.
