Meals on Wheels is hosting a 5K race to raise support for and awareness of the need to assist local seniors.
The 5K will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 at Haywood Community College’s Dahlia Trail.
In addition to runners and walkers, organizers are also seeking volunteers.
