Haywood Waterways is looking for volunteers to take over monthly sampling of our Racoon Creek VWIN sites.
Volunteers will receive training and be responsible for sampling these sites on the second Saturday of every month.
The sites are located at the following GPS coordinates: Racoon Creek Upstream (35.49757, -82.96383) and Racoon Creek Downstream (35.51475, -82.969).
The sampling crate (for sample bottle pickup and dropoff) is located in the dairy cooler at the Hazelwood Ingles in Waynesville. If interested, send an email to katy@haywoodwaterways.org.
