Early voting continues through Nov. 1

In-person early voting continues through Saturday, Nov. 1. Voters can vote in-person at their county board of elections and are able to register to vote the same day if necessary. 

Hours of operation can vary among polling places. Voters can find their polling place and the operating hours by checking voter registration at vt.ncsbe.gov

Photo identification is required. Voter ID information can be found at ncsbe.gov/voting. The deadline for absentee ballot requests is 5 p.m. on Oct. 21. Ballots must be returned to your county board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

For those unable to vote in person, absentee ballots are available upon request. The deadline for requests is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, with the submission deadline of 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Overseas voters and military members requesting an absentee ballot have different requirements and deadlines. More information can be found at ncsbe.gov/voting/military-and-overseas.
