That motto has continued over the past 50 years.  Many of our customers don’t realize that the majority of Laura Lynn products come from companies based in states within about 250 miles of our Corporate offices and Distribution Center in Black Mountain NC.

 

Did you know:

• About 80% of Laura Lynn milk comes from dairy farmers whose farms are within 100 miles of Asheville.

• Many of the Laura Lynn paper products are supplied by Clearwater Paper company based in Shelby, NC – part of our “Neighbor to Neighbor” program.

• Ingles is the largest buyer of locally grown produce.

• J.W. Johnson Produce Company (Canton, NC) – works to broker and package produce for many small Haywood and Buncombe County farmers.

• Carolina Pig Polish (Whittier, NC) – bottles barbecue sauce made with sorghum syrup.

• Brasstown Beef (Whittier, NC) – raises beef cattle and supplies Ingles stores in NC and GA.
