Macon reports two more COVID-related deaths

Macon County Public Health received notification that two Macon County residents diagnosed with COVID-19 have passed away.

 

To protect the family ́s privacy, no further information will be released about these individuals. These deaths bring Macon County to 32 deaths related to COVID-19.

“We are thinking about these individuals’ friends and family, and hope for their comfort as they mourn their loss,” said Health Director, Kathy McGaha. McGaha continued, “Macon County’s vaccination process is underway, and there are appointments available for this lifesaving vaccine for all over the age of 18. The more individuals who get this vaccine, the more likely that we will stop seeing COVID-19 deaths.”
