Improve your online skills with workshops

Two one-day Internet courses will be offered from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Agust 25 and 26 by Western Carolina University’s Division of Educational Outreach.

“Using Google Docs,” is set for Thursday, August 25, and is designed to familiarize participants with the free Google Docs program. Students will learn to produce, create, modify and organize text documents, slideshow presentations, spreadsheets, drawings, surveys and more.

“The One-Day Website” will be offered Friday, August 26, and will cover how to create, design and publish personal websites for free, as well as how to maintain website files.

The fee for each course is $49 until August 19, and $59 after that.
