Creative Endeavors Craft Show to feature Sir Lamps-A-Lot

The Junaluska Woman’s Club Creative Endeavors Craft Show will exhibit custom-made table lamps from Kenneth Lambert, a.k.a. Sir Lamps-A-Lot, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 10-11 at Harrell Center Auditorium at Lake Junaluska.

Lambert first started building the lamps after his wife and daughter asked him to create different décor from teacups and saucers. He has now made more than 100 cup-and-saucer lamps in addition to lamps made from teapots, cream pitchers, cookie jars and other ceramic pieces.

Lambert can make lamps made-to-order from other peoples’ old ceramics. People can contact Lambert directly at 828.456.4523.

Sir Lamps-A-Lot is one of many local artists who will have their work on display during the two-day event.
