Reappointments made to SCC board

Two longtime Board of Trustee members at Southwestern Community College, Conrad Burrell and Paul Holt, were recently reappointed to their posts.

Burrell has served on SCC’s board for 16 years, eight of those as chairman. He lives in Sylva. He is a retired Jackson County Register of Deeds and recently retired from the N.C. Department of Transportation.

Holt has served on SCC’s board since its inception in 1968, including terms as chairman. He is currently the vice chairman. Holt has served for 50 years as the attorney for the Jackson County Board of Education.
