Almost Kinetic, a five-piece band from Western North Carolina, performs a blend of rock and pop covers along with original music. Chris Rosser
Performing Songwriter calls Chris Rosser an artist with a heart of gold.
“Chris’ songs are good medicine. Kind and heartfelt and beautifully written,” says David Wilcox.
Rosser is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer and producer. As a solo singer-songwriter, he tours nationally, playing at festivals, clubs and listening rooms. As a member of the world-jazz instrumental trio Free Planet Radio, he plays a variety of instruments, including the Indian dotar, Turkish cumbus oud, guitars, melodica and piano. As a producer, he has produced about 40 recordings for various artists in his Asheville-based Hollow Reed Studio.

Guerguerian has performed at international music festivals in Berlin, New York, Moscow, Rome, San Francisco, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, Barcelona, Athens, Istanbul and London and has recorded on over 100 albums and film soundtracks, including the John Cage documentary film, “I Have Nothing to Say and I Am Saying It.”
His compositions have been commissioned and performed by chamber ensembles, universities, modern dance companies, and new music festivals.
Ashley Chambliss
Ashley Chambliss as been playing listening rooms, coffee shops, festivals, weddings, graduations, etc.. since 1994.
She studied at Berklee (school of music) in Boston in fall of 2003. In June 2007 her song, “A little more of you” from her nakedsongs album was featured on ABC’s, ‘One Life To Live.’
This song continues to be a favorite among listeners and has received much attention by the dance community as it was used at New York City Dance Alliance in 2007.
Ashley recently provided vocals in the new film, “Anywhere, USA’”which won awards at Sundance Film Festival 2008.
Ashley’s new album, a six-song EP was recorded in Chris Rosser’s studio in Asheville. “Chris Rosser and River Guerguerian added their talents to these songs and really made the ‘album’ come to life. They are not only brilliant musicians but loving people to work with. It’s an honor to share the stage with them and have them be part of my musical creations,” said Chambliss.
