Last call for Polar Plungers

out polarplungeHaywood Waterways Association is calling on lovers of clean water, those immune to the cold or anyone out there  crazy enough to jump on Polar Plunge bandwagon.

 

The Polar Plunge will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Lake Junaluska beach. It features a “plunge” into Lake Junaluska followed by a bonfire and hot chili lunch. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded. The cost is $25, but plungers are encouraged to raise additional money for the cause through plunge sponsors. Proceeds go to Haywood Waterway’s Kids in the Creek and youth education programs.
