The Black Crowes come to Harrah’s

art crowesLegendary southern rock group, The Black Crowes, performs at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Harrah’s Cherokee.

 

Selling over 35 million albums, the band is known as one of rock’s best live acts and has been called “The Most Rock n’ Roll Rock ‘n’ Roll Band in the World.” Their panoramic live shows feature alternating set lists and signature incendiary musical explorations. In 2010, they were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall Of Fame at the 32nd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards Show. Also in 2010, they commemorated the 20th anniversary of their landmark multi-platinum debut, 1990’s “Shake Your Money Maker.” Their newest release, “Wiser For the Time” (Silver Arrow/Megaforce Records), is a four-sided vinyl collection and double album from the band’s five-night, sold-out New York City performances in 2010.

Tickets are $25, $35 and $45. The show is ages 21 and over.
